We Can Help Your Park or Program

The Executuve Director of the Institute, the Chair of the Board of Advisors, our Faculty Affiliates, and UC Berkeley Ph.D. students offer high-level expertise in science and the application of research results to practical solutions for managers and policymakers.

We offer expertise in climate change, biodiversity conservation, ecology, management of national parks and protected areas, all aspects of environmental science and policy, law, environmental design, psychology, equity and inclusion, and many other disciplines. Institute researchers work in the U.S., Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania. We cover national, regional, provincial, state, local, and city parks.

We can provide long- or short-term assistance aimed to help you with your needs in your national park, protected area, government agency, or non-profit organization.

We are also available to provide legislative testimony and information to journalists.
