At the BLM 75th Anniversary Symposium on September 23rd, join Berkeley’s Institute for Parks, People, and Biodiversity to discuss the past and future 75 years for the Bureau of Land Management. The Parks Institute will host the online event along with the Public Lands Foundation and the Conservation Lands Foundation. The event will include panel discussions on topics such as tribal leadership in public land management and the effects of climate change on America’s public lands.
The event’s speakers include Holly Doremus, the James H. House and Hiram H. Hurd professor at Berkeley Law, and Arthur Middleton, an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. Doremus and House serve on the faculty executive committee of the Parks Institute.
