Patrick Gonzalez Discusses Climate Change on KQED Public Radio

January 18, 2023

The KQED 88.5 FM public radio show Forum broadcast a panel, including Dr. Patrick Gonzalez, climate change scientist, forest ecologist, and Executive Director of the UC Berkeley Institute for Parks, People, and Biodiversity, discussing human-caused climate change in California. Climate change has caused increased drought, floods, and wildfire, yet carbon solutions, including restoration of natural fire in California forests, and walking, biking, public transit, and other sustainable transportation solutions, can avert the most drastic impacts.
