Patrick Gonzalez Speaks on Climate Change in San Francisco Examiner

“Effective carbon solutions to human-caused climate change are available now. Concerted global action could avert the most extreme heat and protect people and nature,” states Dr. Patrick Gonzalez, climate change scientist, forest ecologist, and Executive Director of the University of California, Berkeley, Institute for Parks, People, and Biodiversity. He summarized the scientific findings of the latest science from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in a page 1 article today in the San Francisco Examiner. Dr. Gonzalez has served as a lead author on four reports of the IPCC, the science organization awarded a share of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
