Holly Doremus
Holly Doremus brings a strong background in life sciences and a commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship to her work at Berkeley Law. She holds a PhD in Plant Physiology from Cornell University and a JD from Berkeley Law. She is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, has served on three National Research Council review committees, and has co-authored papers with ecologists, conservation biologists, economists, philosophers, and others. Her research interests span environmental and natural resources law and policy, with specific focal points including biodiversity policy, the role of science in natural resource policy, and striking an appropriate balance between public and private interests in land and water resources.
