University of California, Berkeley, scientist Patrick Gonzalez spoke to the U.S. Congress last week on impacts and solutions to human-caused climate change in national parks. Dr. Gonzalez is a faculty affiliate of the Institute for Parks, People, and Biodiversity and an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management.

Parks Stewardship Forum calls for papers for inaugural issue
The Institute for Parks, People and Biodiversity has entered into an agreement with the George Wright Society to co-publish the Parks Stewardship Forum, a free on-line journal on the science and management of natural and cultural resources in protected areas around the world. The forum is calling for papers to publish in the inaugural issue.
